CW renews One Tree Hill and Life, cancels Melrose Place, picks up Hellcats and Nikita

As expected, The CW has opted to bring back One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected next season.

There’s no word on the exact episode orders, but I’m hearing both will return for at least 12 eps apiece.

The net also picked up the Tom Welling-produced cheerleading drama Hellcats and the Maggie Q-fronted action-drama Nikita.
